COSTAR: Startup Helping Nursing Mothers Return to Work in Pandemic Hires CBRE for Expansion

The Houston-based startup is pursuing commercial real estate expertise to help turn the boutique service into a national platform. Since opening its first location in 2019, Work & Mother now has four locations in Houston and Austin, Texas, that range from 400 square feet to 1,000 square feet and has several more in the pipeline in new markets including Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago. The goal is to be able to announce another 15 to 20 locations within the next year.
